Bridge Loan Program

The Cities of College Station and Bryan have partnered with the Brazos Valley Council of Governments to create a Bridge Loan Program to assist small businesses that have seen at least a 15% reduction in revenue due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The loans provide the businesses with working capital until they receive permanent assistance, primarily through the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL).

Loan Information

Loans up to $25,000
Maturity of 3 years at an interest rate of 3% with no payments required for up to 6 months
Loan recipients must repay the loan once their Economic Injury Disaster Loan is funded

Application Requirements:

To apply, businesses must have had at least 15% reduction in revenue as a result of COVID‐19 and have applied for an SBA Loan. Combine all of the items below into a single PDF Document.

Written request detailing business name, business contact information (phone, address and website), ownership list, loan request amount and impact of COVID-19
SBA Loan Application (either the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) or the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan)
12/31/2019 Financial Statements (Tax Return or Company Prepared Financials [Balance Sheet and Income Statement])
If providing Company Prepared Financials, also provide 2018 Business Tax Return (to include all schedules)
Business debt schedule as of 12/31/2019 (click here to download)
Tax returns – most recent filed return
Personal financial statements – for anyone with an ownership of 20% and above (click here to download)
Credit Score of all owners with 20%+ ownership
Other loans and grants applied for and/or received
At least 15% reduction in revenue as a result of COVID‐19
