The Advisory Council meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month, providing valuable services by helping the BVAAA identify the needs of the aging community.

Advisory Council

The regional advisory council provides valuable services by helping the BVAAA identify the needs, create accessible services and target resources in your community and others in the Brazos Valley region. They advise and make recommendations to the BVAAA on aging matters.

Our purpose is to assure that the Brazos Valley region is a good place to grow up old and healthy. We acknowledge the independence of the elderly and resources in this pursuit. Older people can be reassured that their individual rights are valued and that the communities offer services appropriate to their preference.
