HIV/Health Services
Brazos Valley Council of Governments is the Administrative Agency for the Central Texas HIV Administrative Service Area (CTHASA). The BVCOG HIV Administrative Services program plans for the use of and administers funds to service agencies within 147 counties in Central Texas. These 18 agencies provide access to quality medical and social services for anyone living with HIV/AIDS in the Central Texas HIV Planning Area. Funding sources include Ryan White Part B, State Services and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) funds.
The HIV/Health Services Program is also periodically involved in other public health projects as opportunities arise. We want to hear your ideas! Send feedback to hiv@bvcog.org or visit our staff page to contact a specific staff member.
"Texas will become a state where HIV is rare, and every person will have access to high-quality prevention and care services regardless of age, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, and socioeconomic circumstances."
