The HIV/Health Services Program serves as the Central Texas HIV Administrative Agency for the Texas Department of State Health Services. Click to learn more.

HIV/Health Services

The HIV/Health Services Program manages HIV-related funding for core and support services for Central Texas, working under the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). We help make sure public health funding reaches the people and communities who need it most. This includes deciding how funds are distributed and making sure those funds are used responsibly. We also collect and manage important data to help improve HIV services across the region.

The HIV/Health Services Program is also periodically involved in other public health projects as opportunities arise. We want to hear your ideas! Send feedback to hiv@bvcog.org or visit our staff page to contact a specific staff member.

Achieving Together:
A community plan to end the HIV epidemic in Texas

"Texas will become a state where HIV is rare, and every person will have access to high-quality prevention and care services regardless of age, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, and socioeconomic circumstances."
