The BVCOG Finance Department performs the accounting function of all BVCOG programs including annual financial reports for the Brazos Valley.

The BVCOG Finance Department accounts for all BVCOG programs, including County Indigent Health, BVWACS, BVRAC, BVCOGnet and Brazos 2020 Vision, Inc. BVCOG is the fiscal agent for Brazos Valley Community Action Programs (BVCAP).

The BVCOG Finance Department strives to maintain the highest levels of financial accountability. Going beyond the minimum requirements of generally accepted accounting principles, they prepare annual comprehensive financial reports (ACFR) that evidence the spirit of transparency and full disclosure. Since 2001, the Government Finance Officers Association has consistently recognized the BVCOG Finance Department with the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
