What is The Aging and Disability Resource Center?

The Brazos Valley Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) works with the aged (those over 60) and disabled community by providing information about services and support to help individuals and families to make informed choices about their health and wellness. We are available to educate individuals of any age who have a disability, or those who are over 60, their family members and caregivers to empower them to make knowledgeable decisions, streamline access to a wide variety of services and supports, and serve as a highly visible and trusted resource in our seven-county community.

Our Mission

The mission of the ADRC is to provide a person-centered, community-based environment that promotes the independence and dignity for disabled individuals and seniors over 60. We strive for ease of access to information and one-on-one options counseling to assist consumers in exploring a full range of community supports to help meet their needs. The ADRC also strives to provide such assistance and services to caregivers and loved ones of people needing community support.
